Opposition parties demanding paper ballots for elections

Though there is a possibility of ballot stuffing, indian opposition parties are demanding that the indian government and election commission reverts to paper ballots for elections. It is relatively simple to manipulate digital data, and because a high level of technical expertise is required it is very difficult to pinpoint the problem as the opposition parties do not appear to be having the necessary levels of technical, electronics knowledge . Also in India there is a lot of secrecy involved for ntro, falsely claiming national security , so those without any power find it difficult to get any kind of information which they require .
The developed western countries are more scientific in admitting that the electronic voting machines may be rigged, so they are reverting to paper ballots as they wish to remain true democracies., In India the election commission is not very transparent, and does not have the technical qualification to confidentally certify that the electronic voting machines are tamper proof.
